Weird Update...

I was just cleaning up my hand with soap and water, like the doctor said I could do, and I almost passed out.  It was really weird.  I'm keeping the details behind a link to keep the queasy of stomach from being forced to read it.
My hand was feeling really cramped from the bandages, so I took off the ace bandage.  It still had the gauze taped on though.  That still felt weird, so I took it off too for awhile.  The doctor told me I could let it air out some if I wanted, so I was.

After I finished the movie we were watching, I went to the bathroom to clean it up and rebandage it.  I tried scrubbing a little with my fingers to remove all the dried blood from the parts that didn't hurt.  It didn't really work.  I'm going to have to wait until it heals a little more or something before I really try to scrub it.

While I was rinsing off the soap, I accidently touched the "proud flesh" with my finger.  That really hurt.  A couple of seconds later, I got really dizzy and queasy, like I was about to pass out.  I sat down in a position where I wouldn't hurt myself if I did, and the feeling went away.

After I recovered, I rinsed it off again with sterile water and rebandaged it.  I still feel queasy, and the whole experience was just bizarre.  I'm going to have to be more careful next time.
